Res 10-25 Amending the Budget for the Sam and Margaret Lee Arts and Sciences Center TOWN OF WESTLAKE RESOLUTION NO. 10-25 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF 'WESTLAKE AMENDING THE FY 2009-2010 BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE CAPITAL PROJECT FOR THE SAM & MARGARET LEE ARTS AND SCIENCES CENTER AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS,the Town of Westlake, Texas is a general law Town; and WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake, Texas Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Budget was adopted within the time and in the manner required by State Law; and WHEREAS, the fund will be used to complete the 128 parking lot extension to the Sam &Margaret Lee Arts and Sciences Center; and WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that the passage of this Resolution is in the best interest of the citizens of Westlake. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS: SECTION 1: That, all matters stated in the Recitals hereinabove are found to be true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference as if copied in their entirety. SECTION 2: The town hereby adopts the Budget Amendment to General fund for the Sam& Margaret Lee Arts and Sciences Center as attached as Exhibit "A", are to be kept on file and available in the office of the town secretary SECTION 3: If any portion of this Resolution shall, for any reason, be declared invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions hereof and the Council hereby determines that it would have adopted this Resolution without the invalid provision. SECTION 4: That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 30`h DAY OF AUGUST 2010.
