This correlates with our philosophical shift to IB for ALL. The WA cumulative average diploma recipient rate from 2010 to 2017 is 245(336) or 73.0%. The last two years has shown an uptick with respect to high performance. It has remained consistent and in line with the world average of 30.0. 2017 has seen a significant increase in the average IB score obtained by diploma recipients compared to the world. 2017 has also witnessed WA’s highest point total of 44 with two other students at 42. This will serve as their roadmap for the upcoming academic year. Align student performance across these measures: Gradebook Predicted Grades DP Scores Focus on DP assessment throughout the year. Adjust pacing to allow for more structured exam preparation in April. WA AP Trends The overall AP success rate (3+) has increased over the past two years as students take a record number of AP exams. WA has doubled its number of AP scholars in just one year. In the last three years, there has been underperformance in the following courses: AP Chemistry AP Human Geography 2018 AP Goals Increase WA student performance to remain above the world averages in all subject areas. Train AP aligned teachers this summer at APSI. Focus more on specific AP assessment practice. Adjust pacing to allow for more structured AP exam preparation time in April.
