STRINGS COMMENTS:
*the strings lessons will likely hinge on who is instructing(or NOT instructing)
*most brass or woodwind teachers can teach a variety of instruments within those
families (i.e.a trumpet teacher could likely teach trombone, tuba, flute all pretty
easily). Parents may own these instruments already.
*off topic,maybe some art lessons
*Suzuki violin method @ WA in current situation
*Lisa Redding-Instructor!
*If/When strings becomes mandatory again, allow families who are already
engaged in private at home lessons to"opt out"with written proof that a certified
music instructor is employed for at least the amount of time that student would
have strings @ school
*our decision would be based on who will be teaching
our boys prefer lessons before school, but may be flexible
*I have someone I would like for you to consider.Let me know when you guys are
ready to start considering instructors.-Christine @ texsmithOverizon.net
*Private or small group choice would depend on ability level. They have both
played their instruments (clarinet and trumpet) for several years.
*I would consider this only if the Crosby's are not the instructors. Check with young
musicians in Keller for another option.
*I have a great piano teacher-Kevin Bigham and a wonderful voice teacher-Lou
Ann Fisher....Katie Ruelas
*Will there be options for parents to fill any holes left after students have
committed?
*Preferably guitar if piano is not a pre-requisite
*Eventually, I would like for Cole to have the option to take Band/Orchestra instead
of a generic music class
*before school?
*Sat.Classes
*We would be most interested in lessons offered in lieu of recess (around
lunchtimes)
*I would like a harp teacher to be part of the extra-curricular program.
*Add an assistant music teacher(plus parent volunteers, as needed) and keep a
structured music class during the school day. Shorten the class time to only 30
minutes, and take only 1/z the class at a time (so it's more manageable).
*If made affordable,I would love for my child to participate
